CreditChek was founded by Kingsley Ibe and Lionel Orishane in 2021, is an Africa credit assessment provider that partners with Africa credit bureaus to enhance financial data transparency through credit insight.
It has a 5-years exclusive data coverage deal with CreditPal and has raised more than $240k in pre-seed and seed rounds since inception, and has investments from Baobab Network, and eleven (11) other investors and has supported more than 30 million in loan approvals as it is poised to tackle the critical gap of creditworthiness of Africans that is projected to reach 147 million immigrants.

CreditCliq was founded by Angel Idusuyi, Eve Idusuyi and Eniola Osabiya in 2022, a company dedicated to developing infrastructure to underwrite immigrants from the Philippines and Mexico to America to enable global citizens get cross-border access to finance
Post acquisition, the executive leadership and ownership of CreditCliq has been transitioned to CreditChek while the technical team of CreditCliq will be retained.
